The Mont Pelerin Society welcomes applications for membership from those who are able to show an understanding of and commitment to the aims and values of the Society, particularly those who have worked, or who currently work, in academia.
Among its members, The Mont Pelerin Society has had nine Nobel Prize winners in Economic Science, distinguished scholars in political science, philosophy, and history, internationally renowned intellectuals, philanthropists, intellectual entrepreneurs, policy makers, and policy analysts. In evaluating new membership applications, the most important criterion will be professional accomplishment in one’s chosen field.
Candidates are required to have attended at least two meetings of the Society to be eligible for membership. Applications for new membership also require the support of at least two current members, who nominate individuals for membership in the Society.
The Mont Pelerin Society will invite applications for new membership in 2022. More information about the 2022 membership application window will be published here at a later date.
